Software and AI Development Services

unicrew is an AI-led, nearshore software development and technology consulting company: we build and operate our own AI products in production, and bring that same engineering to the systems your business already runs on.

01Start here

Start from the outcome, not the service name

Four situations are on the cards below, and the fifth is the note underneath, for when the right first step is a diagnosis rather than a build. Pick the one that sounds like your week: the directory filters to exactly the services that fit it, with the count printed on the card, so you read a shortlist instead of the whole catalogue. Every published project names the services behind it, so you can also start from work the same shape as yours.

  • 01

A product, platform or app that does not exist yet, scoped, designed, engineered and launched.

    14services
  • 02

Agents, LLM features and automation inside the product and the processes you already run.

    11services
  • 03

A legacy platform, a stalled project, cloud spend that got away, weak test coverage or a compliance deadline.

    18services
  • 04

Engineers and skills your own team is missing, without running a hiring cycle first.

The fifth situation

You are not sure it is a build at all

Something is not working and it is not yet clear whether software is the answer. That is what a fixed-scope assessment is for: it ends in a written plan sized to what your situation needs, so the next step is a decision rather than a guess. What it asks of you is between four and ten hours of your team's time in total, depending on the offer. As our Chief Technology Officer Oleksandr Trofimov puts it: “A service name is a poor place to start. The failure mode is the better question: a system that is slow, unloved, or wrong is one kind of engagement; a system that does not exist yet is another. In our experience the most expensive mistake a buyer makes is purchasing the service they searched for instead of the one their situation needs, which is why the first call here is a diagnosis rather than a pitch.”

02Directory

Every service, grouped by what it does for you

Seven groups, and the whole catalogue is here rather than behind a sales call. Filter by what you are trying to do, or search if you already know the name; every row links to a page saying what that work covers and who does it. If your sector is the hard part rather than the technology, start from logistics, healthcare or fintech instead.

5 services

Two more clusters

Cloud, and security and compliance, each have a hub of their own

Both sit inside the groups above rather than beside them, so neither has a column of its own. Cloud is four different purchases depending on whether you are reading an estate you already run, moving one, building one that does not exist yet, or changing how a release reaches production. Security and compliance is two: a programme that keeps a product compliant as it changes, and a point-in-time test of what an attacker could reach. Each hub sets its own services side by side, so you can choose between them in one place.

03Engagement

Three ways to work with us

The service answers what gets built. This answers how it is staffed, priced and started, which is what actually decides whether a project happens. All three carry the same certifications, and ISTQB-certified QA sits inside every sprint, on every engagement. What changes is who holds the roadmap, how scope is agreed, and what you are invoiced for. There is no minimum engagement period. If you would rather a unicrew delivery lead held the plan and the outcome as well as the people, that is managed teams.

  • A standing team of named senior engineers that works only on your product, with its own project lead running its process inside your repositories and standups. Your side keeps the priorities and the roadmap.

    Best for
A roadmap that keeps going, or a skills gap you would otherwise hire for
    You get
The same named engineers month after month, their own project lead, and a team that owns its delivery quality
    Commercials
Monthly, per team or per engineer. No recruitment or placement fee
    2 to 4 weeksTypical kick-off
  • Development billed on the time actually worked, for a roadmap that will change as you learn, without renegotiating a contract every time it does.

    Best for
Scope that will move, and discovery-led builds
    You get
Sprint planning, transparent time logs, a roadmap you can change between sprints
    Commercials
    Billed hourly, quoted per project
    2 to 4 weeksTypical kick-off
  • A defined build against a written specification, with milestones and acceptance criteria agreed before anyone starts.

    Best for
A clear deliverable and a hard deadline
    You get
Discovery, spec, build, QA, and a post-launch warranty period agreed at contract
    Commercials
Fixed price, outcome based, quoted per project
    2 to 4 weeksTypical kick-off
What you keep

Your code, your accounts, your decisions

Ownership is settled in the contract, before the work starts rather than after it: the code, the accounts it runs in, and the documentation that goes with them. The same document is where the handover belongs: which repositories and accounts come across, which documentation travels with them, and what state they arrive in. Agree that at the start and taking the work in-house later is a decision rather than a project.

04Case studies

Work running in production

Three client builds: AI search inside a platform that already had users, a cloud bill brought down, and a manual data process automated away. Each card ends on a number rather than an adjective, and each study names the systems, the constraints that shaped the design and the services behind the work, so you can judge whether the problem resembles yours before you spend a call on it.

07Questions

About unicrew's services

Scope, speed, price, ownership, what we are certified to, and how we fit around a team you already have. These are the questions a first call opens with, and the answers here are the ones you would get on it.

Seven groups: AI development, engineering services, team extension, quality assurance (which carries security and compliance), data and platforms, technology consulting, and product design. The directory on this page is the complete list, with nothing held back for a sales call, and every entry has its own page covering the scope, the team shape and how the work runs. The same catalogue also sorts four ways by what you are trying to do: build something new, put AI to work, fix or modernize what you already run, or add senior engineers to your own team.

Start from the outcome rather than the service name. The section at the top of this page sets out five situations, including the one where the right first step is a diagnosis rather than a build. Four of the five are also the first filters in the directory below, and each card prints how many services its filter leaves, so you read that set instead of the whole catalogue. If it is still unclear, book a scoping call and describe the problem rather than the service. We will point you at the right one, and at the first step that fits your situation.

No. unicrew has been building software since 2012, and the directory above runs the whole span of conventional engineering: web platforms, mobile apps, integrations, cloud infrastructure and QA. What is different is that we build and operate our own AI products in production, so the operating side of AI, evaluation, cost, latency and what happens when a model changes underneath you, is work we carry rather than only advise on. An AI feature is only as good as the systems and data underneath it, which is why we build and run those too, and why we recommend AI where it earns its place in the product.

Three models: a dedicated team of named senior engineers, time and materials for scope that will move, or a fixed-scope project against a written specification. Most engagements start within two to four weeks, on any of the three.

Fixed price is outcome based and quoted per project, against a written specification. Time and materials is billed hourly and quoted per project, against sprint planning and transparent time logs. Dedicated teams and team extension are priced monthly, per team or per engineer, with no recruitment or placement fee: nothing separate is charged for sourcing, vetting or placing an engineer. What you get is the model, the team shape and the assumptions in writing, because a number with no scope behind it is not information. A discovery or assessment is sold as a fixed scope agreed before we start, so the first commitment is a small one, and most engagements start within two to four weeks.

Whichever of the three models you buy, the agreement we sign names who holds the source code, the technical documentation and the intellectual property, on what terms, and what has to be handed over at the end. It is signed before the work starts, not renegotiated after it, so you read the ownership terms in full before you commit.

Two ISO certifications, plus the credentials our people hold. unicrew is ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 9001:2015 certified, renewed through a multi-stage audit with Quay Audit UK: the first covers information security, the second covers quality management, which in practice is how the work is run and reviewed. ISTQB-certified QA sits inside every sprint, on every engagement. unicrew has PMP-certified project managers, is a certified Laravel partner company, and holds Zend PHP, Microsoft MCSA and IIBA ECBA credentials. Where a regime governs the system we are building we build to it: one medical project was developed in accordance with HIPAA Security Rules, and GDPR shapes how we handle data wherever it reaches.

Yes. Engineers join your repositories, your ticket tracker and your standups rather than running a parallel process beside them. Our engineers work across six countries, and the project managers and engineers on your team sit in Ukraine, Poland, Estonia and the UK. How much of that day overlaps with yours is settled at scoping, against the hours your own team actually works. The president of a US client in Maine put it this way in a verified Clutch review: "We have a daily status meeting over Google Meet. They’re ahead of me, so we meet in their evening time in Ukraine. The accommodations they’ve made for US time have been great." Where you already run a stack, the work happens in it rather than in the one we would have picked, and if a rewrite really is the right answer you get that argument in writing before anyone starts.

Where to go next

  • Buy a first step instead of a service: one fixed-scope piece of work that ends in something written, and a decision you can act on.

  • For when the sector is the hard part, and its regulations and integrations decide the design before any service name does.

  • Which stacks the work above is actually delivered in, layer by layer, and what each one costs you later.

  • Finished projects, filterable, each naming the services that produced it.

  • For agencies that need an engineering team: delivery under your brand, on your client's timeline.

  • The company behind the catalogue: how it is audited, and who does the engineering.
