Overview
The platform is one of unicrew’s software solutions for the logistics industry. It is a moving company platform built on a SaaS model, created so our client could give movers, agents, and van lines a single tool and manage the relationships between them within one end-to-end solution.
It is a cloud-based service for managing household moves: transportation, loading, unloading, packing, and unpacking. Brokers license the software on a subscription basis, and the features cover the full range of a logistics company’s business operations.
The challenge
Logistics businesses that run integrated, full-cycle services have to deliver both reactive and scheduled facilities-management work to their clients, and that demands a reliable, effective, and fast system to manage it. The challenge was to build one integrated platform that covered all of those needs and joined every business participant together in a seamless, elegant way.
The solution
After several strategic analysis sessions we identified the key areas of the business, then produced a wireframe design and specification that our solution reflects. The plan was to integrate every existing need and process into one full-cycle environment that supports the entire logistics workflow, from lead to invoice.
The delivered system includes:
- An admin panel for setting up the system
- Multiple profile types: customer, mover, affiliate, and company staff
- Lead capture and management
- Job-order management
- Integration with related services such as loading, unloading, packing, and unpacking
- An integrated CRM for movers and customer relationship management
- An online document-management system with customized signatures for agreements
- Automated job-order agreements for different service types
- An inventory sheet
- Automated quoting
- Integrated online billing through Authorize.Net, PayPal, USAePay, and BluePay
- Automated emails
- Surveys and questionnaires
- An affiliate-management system
- Enhanced reporting
- Twilio integration for the call center and quote follow-ups
- A bulletin board with the latest news and notifications for system users
The result
The delivered software covers every logistics process, from lead management to invoicing, and joins all participants inside one integrated system. In Clutch review 50724 the client’s CEO says “The software does what it is designed to do”, and that when he brought in outside experts to assess the work, “everyone was impressed by the quality of the product”.
Moving software has two faces, and this one is the operator’s: it runs the business behind the move. The MiniMoves order-management platform covers the other face, the one the customer books through. Other clients describe their own projects on our client reviews page.
What the client says
They’re a highly ethical and well-managed organization. I was amazed by the CEO’s skill level and business acumen.

The questions behind the project
What does the moving company platform actually do?
It runs a moving company end to end, from lead to invoice, inside one cloud-based SaaS platform. The delivered system captures and manages leads, quotes jobs automatically, handles job orders and the agreements that go with them, keeps an inventory sheet, runs an integrated CRM for movers and customers, manages documents and signatures online, bills online, sends automated emails, runs surveys and questionnaires, manages affiliates, and reports across all of it. An admin panel sits behind it for setting the system up.
How does it connect movers, agents, van lines and customers?
Through one integrated system with four profile types: customer, mover, affiliate and company staff. It was built so our client could give movers, agents and van lines a single tool and manage the relationships between them inside one end-to-end solution, which meant joining every business participant in one place. An integrated CRM handles mover and customer relationship management, and brokers license the software on a subscription basis.
How did the project start before any code?
With several strategic analysis sessions. unicrew identified the key areas of the business first, then produced a wireframe design and a specification that the proposed solution reflects. The plan was to integrate every existing need and process into one full-cycle environment supporting the entire logistics workflow, from lead to invoice.
What other moving and logistics software has unicrew worked on?
Household moves and freight are both long-running domains for this team. The nearest published example is our MiniMoves order-management platform, a customer-facing take on moving software, and the wider set of projects sits on our software solutions for the logistics page.
