We are currently looking for a Data Warehouse/ETL Engineer to join our team and partner with clients in the energy and financial sectors.
You will act as the bridge between technical execution and long-term architectural stability.

What You’ll Do

  • System Maintenance: Keep MSSQL / SQL Server systems and ETL Informatica workflows up to date and performing optimally
  • Proactive Collaboration: Partner closely with application development and IT infrastructure teams to ensure alignment
  • Operational Support: Provide 2nd-level support (no shifts) for incident resolution and troubleshooting production issues
  • Project Delivery: Contribute to Data Warehouse projects during the operational phase, including conceptualization, effort estimation, planning, testing, and documentation
  • Infrastructure & DevOps: Own the test and change management processes, including deployment, release, installation, and configuration of the ETL / Data Warehouse infrastructure in production

Requirements

  • Strong SQL Server / MSSQL administration and development (T-SQL, performance tuning, maintenance)

  • Hands-on Informatica PowerCenter (or similar ETL tool) experience – building and maintaining workflows/mappings

  • Solid grasp of Data Warehouse concepts (dimensional modeling, ETL patterns, data quality)

  • Comfortable with second-level support (no shifts) – troubleshooting production incidents, not just building new pipelines

  • Experience with change/release management processes

  • Familiarity with deployment/configuration of infrastructure, not just writing queries

Soft Skills & Fit

  • Communication: You work well cross-functionally with app dev and infra teams. You aren’t looking for an isolated data role
  • Maturity: You can contribute to high-level planning and documentation; you have the experience to move beyond pure coding
  • Language: Conversational German is required for effective collaboration with local client teams

Hiring Stages

  • General Interview with Recruiter (30 mins)
  • HM interview (20 mins)
  • Tech Interview (1h)
  • 1st Client Interview (1h)
  • 2nd Client interview (on demand)
  • Job Offer Meeting (15mins)

What We Offer

  • Paid vacation and sick leaves in line with local standards
  • Flexible working hours
  • Possibility to work remotely
  • Regular team buildings and company-wide trips
  • Corporate lessons of English
  • Medical insurance
  • Support in preparation, as well as full reimbursement of professional certifications
  • Corporate psychotherapist services
  • Possibility to become a mentor in our corporate university
  • Highly transparent processes towards compensation reviews and promotions
  • Exposure to a rapidly growing, dynamic, and uniquely global industry
